A cake smash photoshoot is such a fun way to celebrate this milestone, after the newborn stage and sitter stage turning one is a big deal! Your baby is turning into their own little person and showing off their cheeky personality and how fast has that first year flown by! My cake smash sessions are unique to you and how you would like them to look, I have a variety of backdrops available and we can have a chat about the theme you would like and go from there!

FAQ

When's the best time for a cake smash session?

Cake smash sessions are usually to celebrate your little one's 1st birthday! They can be held on their 1st birthday or if you wanted to have the photos back for a particular date it's best to have the session at least 3 weeks before this time.

How do I book in?

It's a £99 deposit to secure a session, the balance for your chosen package is then due on the day of your session.

When will we receive our photos?

Your preview gallery of edited photos from your session will be emailed to you 3 weeks later and this is when you can select your photos for your package. If you wish to upgrade to a higher package if you have gone for a smaller package you can do.

Is the cake included in the price?

No the cake is not included in the package price, i can supply the cake for an extra £55 fee

Can we include family and sibling photos within the session?

Yes of course, I love including family and sibling photos. I would usually do some family photos at the beginning before the cake comes out and it gets messy.

Can you get the unedited RAW photos?

NO! I never give out the RAW unedited photos. The photos you receive will be the photos stated in the package you have paid for.

When and where do cake smash sessions take place?

Cake smash sessions take place at my studio in Sidcup at DA14.

How long does a cake smash session last?

Cake smash and splash sessions typically last 45 minutes – 1 hr or just over. I find that with babies of this age even the happiest of babies will start to get tired at the 1 hour mark during the photoshoot as there is a lot going on.

Do I have any outfits?

I do have a few outfits for the babies if you would like to use anything, you can also bring your own
